Safety Manual, Safety Policies and Procedures

As President and Chief Executive Officer of our company, Ihave always and shall continue to hold safety as one of the most important responsibilities in the operation of this organization. I firmly believe that production and safety go hand in hand and that a safe working environment does facilitate and enhance production. Every effort must be placed on safety by every Associate at all of our facilities and field locations.

The rules prepared in our Safety Manual, Safety Policies and Safety Procedures are solely for the protection of all, each and every one of us. All Associates, Contractors, and Sub-Contractors working at any SPSI facility or field location will receive a copy of these rules and will understand, practice and abide by them. All Visitors at SPSI facilities and field locations are to be briefed on these rules and are to be escorted by an SPSI Associate at all times while on the premises.

Failure of any Associate, Contractor and/or Sub-Contractor to comply with SPSI's Safety Manual, Safety Policies or Safety Procedures shall be just cause for disciplinary action, up to and including termination of their employment and/or contract.

The Safety Policies, Procedures and Regulations set forth and/or contained in the Safety Manual are required for maintaining an adequate, safe working environment and for the safe operation of equipment used and licensed by Scott Process Systems, Inc.

SPSI's Safety Director shall have the authority, responsibility, and organizational freedom to identify safety issues and to initiate, recommend, and provide solutions thereof. When differences of opinion arise regardingimplementation of the procedures in this program which cannot be resolved by parties' involved, final resolution will be made by SPSI's President/CEO without compromising this program.
